Thangka with a depiction of Yamantaka in yab yum with an orange silk border. Most thangkas were intended for personal meditation or instruction of monastic students. Thangkas are important teaching tools depicting the life of the Buddha, various influential lamas and other deities and bodhisattvas. Handpainted in Tibet, estimated 19th Century. Good condition.
